WELR Big Local is a lottery funded project which has £1 million to spend over 10 years on activities that the local community have decided are important to them. We are looking for a Junior Project Worker to support our Big Local Manager and our other Junior Project Worker in researching projects, general office duties, outreach and the day to day running of WELR Big Local.
This position will be for a 12-month contract subject to a 3-month probationary period, with the view to extend after this point.
The salary is £15,600 pro rata for 16 hours a week over 3 days (Tuesday – Thursday) You will need to be flexible as days/hours may change from week to week and there may be time when you will be required to work at the weekend. This post would ideally suit an enthusiastic, outgoing person who works well independently or as part of a team. Applicants must be reliable with exceptional time keeping and attendance and have an interest in gaining experience within the community.
