In 1985 St Mary Abbots Rehabilitation and Training (SMART) was registered as a Charity to support people affected by mental illness on their path to recovery.
The founders recognised the importance of meaningful activity and training as a way to rebuild lives, giving people purpose, confidence and skills. As the Charity grew it also recognised the importance of friends, music, laughter and fun.
SMART has 2 doors, one that faces the mental health hospital, and another that backs on to the wider Chelsea community. You are welcome to visit us through either
