NEW CHARITY

After 11 years, we will be closing down Worlds End and Lots Road Big Local

We are delighted to inform everyone that we will be moving onto our new charity Chelsea Big Local and will go live from the beginning of October.

This has been an amazing project and without the funding of the National Lottery and the support of the Local Trust and LTO’s this would never have happened!

The partnership have shown commitment and dedication and have been amazing! Not forgetting the staff who have worked hard to support the community.

We are currently seeking core funding and would be very grateful for any support so that we can continue supporting our fantastic community.

FITNESS CLASS FOR PEOPLE LIVING IN TEMPORARY ACCOMODATION.

Are you living in Temporary accommodation and looking to join a fitness programme?

We are offering you the opportunity to attend a weekly group class on a Thursday. We have a very experienced personal trainer who will deliver these sessions.

This project is funded by Public Health – Every session attended you will be given a lunch voucher to be redeemed at the Chelsea Theatre and also attend Mindfulness workshops at Response Community Project.

WELLBEING WORKSHOPS

(Please note 18th April is a bank holiday and will be changed to 25th April)

We are delighted to offer another 5 sessions which are delivered by Community Living Well.

WELLBEING DURING RAMADAN

We will be holding a informative session in February, if you would like to attend, please get in touch.

DIGITAL SKILLS

We are holding a new Digital Skills course for 10 weeks!

This project will be delivered for 10 weeks beginning 27th February. Our courses are normally offered to over 50’s, however this course is open to anyone over the age of 18 years.

FRIDAY COFFEE MORNINGS

Come along to these new sessions beginning on Friday 31st January.

(PLEASE NOTE THIS IS HELD WEEKLY, HOWEVER THE SESSION WILL NOT BE ON 7TH FEBRUARY)

Have a coffee and natter with your fellow community members, play board games or find a nice picture to colour Lots to do….

POTTERY CLASS

We are offering Big Local residents the opportunity to attend a 4 week pottery class.

ART CLUB

Art club will be starting again on 9th February for 10 weeks – The children are taught many aspects of art.
