Choosing the right school for your child is one of the most important responsibilities you undertake. The purpose of this website is to help you make that choice.
As a Church of England School, the Christian ethos is very important to us all. We aim to promote Christian values for ourselves and others and warmly welcome parents and children who are in sympathy with those ideals.
We seek to achieve high academic standards within a happy and stimulating Christian environment in which children enjoy learning and are encouraged to do their best. To enable us to do this, we spend a lot of our resources on extra staff to support pupils who all follow the agreed National Curriculum. We acknowledge that all children have individual differences for which we need to cater.
We believe that we can only achieve the best for your child by close co-operation between home and school. Without the involvement of the parents, our task is that much more difficult and less enjoyable. We hope that parents will co-operate fully with any procedures that require parental involvement.
We value our close links with St. Barnabas and St. Philip’s Churches which we attend regularly as a school. We warmly welcome parents and families to join our celebrations.
We are proud of our school and the high standard of behaviour and learning which our children achieve. This is due to excellent, conscientious staff who have a very caring attitude and high expectations of themselves as well as the pupils in their charge.
