Worlds End Bookshop is a leading dealer in antiquarian and second-hand books in Chelsea. For more than 25 years we have been purveying fine books to the denizens of West London. The shop is run by Giles Lyon and Kaitlyn Mellini with assistance from Megan Slade. We are accredited members of both the Antiquarian Booksellers Association (ABA) and the Provincial Book Fairs Association (PBFA), and regularly attend the Olympia and Chelsea Bookfairs.
We are always keen to buy great books, particularly Modern Art and Design, Architecture, Beat, Counter-culture and Protest, Philosophy, Poetry, 20th Century Fiction, Fashion and Photography. We also specialise in Fine Leather Bindings, which work very well for flat-dressing or other aspects of interior design. Please enquire for a quotation.
If your solution is to clear books from a property, we can often be of use, either buying the books or helping you dispose of them via charity shops or recycling. More often than not, it is a bit of both.
So, please do ring us if you have books to sell, or would simply like some advice. Giles Lyon or Megan Slade are on hand to deal with your enquiry. If you just have a few nice-looking books, then it may be easier to bring them into the shop. For large collections, we are happy to come out and take a look. We have a large vehicle, which enables us to take away a big amount of books, if need be.
Not all of our books are displayed on the website, if you are looking for something specific please write us an email via the contact page or give us a call. We’re always happy to help.
